FREDERICK THOMAS HUME provides professional Landscape Architecture, Site Planning and Design Services for private and public clients.
We engage a DESIGN PROCESS to clarify the design criteria, study the site conditions, and then develop alternative recommendations for client consideration and confirmation. Based on these initial steps, technical construction documents are prepared for contractor bidding and construction. This step by step approach helps to guide informed decisions.
Stages of the DESIGN PROCESS:
- CLARIFICATION – Clarify the project objectives, budget and schedule.
- REVIEW – Review the site conditions and clarify public agency criteria.
- DESIGN – Develop conceptual design alternatives.
- PUBLIC AGENCY REVIEW
- CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION – Working drawings for bidding and construction.
- CONSTRUCTION – Contractor Bidding and field observation during construction.
